Enneagram Types In The Office
The Enneagram of Personality Types: basically the best assessment of self-identity there is (also a personal favorite of the Yonts + Co team).
Everyone knows we love to work hard AND play hard in the office, and personality tests are some of the best ways to have fun, build understanding among the team, and increase productivity.
If you’re looking for an awesome and free team-building opportunity, have everyone you work with check out the Enneagram. There’s great online tests out there, but we recommend reading through the personality types on ennegraminstitute.com - you’ll mostly likely “identify” with a number, and probably have hilarious realizations about co-workers along the way.
Studying the Enneagram can (basically) last a lifetime, as there’s endless information online and in books. But for beginners, it’s pretty simple: there’s 9 basic personality types and everyone on the planet is one of them.
By learning about your number, as well as those around you, you’ll probably better understand everyone’s strengths and weaknesses and be able to better delegate tasks.
Oh… and there’s LOTS of insightful and/or hilarious meme accounts on Instagram covering the personality types.
Let us know if you try out this team-building exercise in your workplace or home environment, and let us know your results!
